Mission Market Ministry

We have exciting news to share about a new ministry at Cross of Glory. It’s called Mission Market. This ministry will allow everyone to support CoG while we shop. You can put your everyday shopping dollars to work and support CoG without spending anything additional.

Here’s how it works. The Mission Market Team will collect orders for gift cards that can be used for groceries, gasoline, clothing, entertainment, and household goods at local and national retailers. Some of the nationally known retailers include: Wal-Mart, Jewel, Dominicks, JCPenney, Kohls, Best Buy, Shell, Speedway, Starbucks, The Home Depot and Subway. These retailers have agreed to sell gift cards to our organization at a discount. Families like yours will buy the gift cards at full face value, and the difference will go to support the mission and ministry of Cross of Glory.

Orders will be due the first and third Sunday of each month at worship. The Mission Market Team will have a table set up in the Welcome Room with a list of vendors. The cards will be ready for pick up after worship on the second and fourth Sunday, respectively. For your convenience, orders can also be dropped off during the week in the front office.
